A job well done!

After a period of engineering, production and assembly processes, TBV’s team has completed the production works the specially designed Crow’s Nest lift.

This superyacht-application lift system will be installed on board of a private yacht, bound to sail in arctic environments. Enabling this, the system has been fitted with the required technology to operate in such temperatures, whilst retaining a fully superyacht-style visual design.

This unique execution of an outboard elevator with an inclined travel, installed in an area with minimum space available, has posed many challenges for TBV’s mechanical engineering team to resolve. Having reviewed the final result with the client during a successful factory acceptance test in TBV’s Assembly & Test location, the team has taken great pride in the final result.

What now remains will be the installation on board, which will be a quick task as the system’s test configuration is a direct replica of the mast into which it will be installed.

More news on this project will follow soon.
